Stoke Newington 2001–2005

Structural alterations and the enlargement of existing window openings in the basement of this Victorian terraced house allowed the transformation of a gloomy, awkwardly arranged space into a bright kitchen/dining room, offering views and direct access to the garden.

The kitchen design combines panels of colour with stainless steel and walnut, all set against a neutral background of pale walls and limestone flooring.

A second phase of improvement works to this family house included the creation of two new bathrooms.
